Millennial Skin Studio and Spa

Skin has always been something that intrigued me. Growing up I dealt with eczema, cysts, abscesses, breakouts, and hyperpigmentation so I’ve had my fair share of skin conditions in my life. I’ve had a skincare routine since I was in middle school so taking proper care of my skin has always been important to me. Makeup was where my interest first grew because I wanted to learn how to create that perfectly flawless canvas. I attended GMMA, The Gwynnis Mosby Makeup Academy right here in Atlanta where I started my makeup journey. I honed my skills while I worked at salons, makeup kiosks, and finally at Sephora. After a massive layoff after Covid I was inspired to go to esthetics school to learn more about skincare. I’ve been a licensed esthetician since 2021 and had the opportunity to work at several spas most notable one, being HeyDay. But now here I am in 2024 venturing off on my own to provide a unique spa experience for the Atlanta market with the goal of growth to other markets in the near future. Thank you for coming along on this journey with me and hope to see your faces in my facial spa very soon.

WHO WE ARE

Our Mission

Welcome to MLNL SKN studio and spa! This spa was inspired by my generation the millennials, a generation of thinkers and doers, go-getters, and game changers. We have truly made a mark on the world and we’re only just beginning so why not take over the spa industry while we’re at it? I’m a licensed esthetician and makeup artist and I’ve always been someone who thinks outside the box in every aspect of my life so why would facials and skincare be any different? I dreamt of a concept that I haven’t seen before one where you can go to a spa with a variety of options for facial skincare, body care, and beauty services. Many spas claim to be giving customized options but are they really? If every client is expected to use the same products with just a cocktailing option is that truly customization or the illusion of a customized service? I wanted to bring enough options to your spa experience to genuinely give you a customized experience of your choosing. the time you visit. I wanted my clients to be able to book body services and facial services because our bodies need the same attention and care as our faces. My goal is to promote healthy skin on our faces and bodies to give us all that confidence boost we all crave. Most importantly I dreamt of bringing a much-needed black-owned spa concept to the Atlanta area that is so rich in black culture and by redefining what a facial should be by partnering with quality black-owned skincare brands to promote the idea that facials can and should be inclusive. Many of these black-owned skincare brands have equally effective products garnering amazing skincare results using today’s most popular science-backed ingredients and they also deserve a spot on the facial frontier. So welcome to my millennial spa and let’s take the spa industry into the future one face and body at a time Love your Estie Bestie, Carmel
